Good Morning Sunday!

This Sunday morning 7am, I was hungry looking for a new place to have my quick solo breakfast while waiting for the Veterinary Clinic to open. First in my mind is to drop by and have a quick sip in Starbucks, The Rock Holy Spirit Drive when they are still close at that time. Good thing new cafe spotted just beside Starbucks that is open already.

Mr. Park's Bread & Cake, the Rock Holy Spirit Drive QC

Yes, that is the name of the Patisserie or Bakeshop that I spotted just this morning. It's not a Cafe actually, since they don't cater a lot of meals like some breakfast options. Since they are more focus I guess in Pastries, but they have a lot of delicious lunch to offer. . Anyway, it was my first time to dine in here, though I know their wide sub cafe Main Branch in Paranaque Mr. Park's Bread and Cake.

As I enter the place, it is not what I expected. I was looking for a good breakfast and I am hungry so I let one of the service crew to choose a bread for me since I am not used to eat Korean food. I forgot to take pictures while roaming around, making myself more hungry as I watched the newly baked goodies placed and arrange in each tray. Haha.

I asked them to bring my food upstairs while waiting since they are still reheating my orders.

Looks delicious, isn't? Dig in!

I am very "oc" when it comes to food. I need to check first the taste, prices and presentations.
Nobody is perfect though, I guess they need to improve their presentations when it comes to serving the dine in food.

Overall ratings, 7 out of 10.

Recommendations? Oh yes, you have to try their coffee.. I love Korean Coffee :) I am going to go back for more.

My blogaway App First Impressions

Unlike any other apps, like Tumblr (blogging app) I am still not used to using it. Funny how i love the Tumblr app most when it comes to blogging. Where I can see other users and groups right away. Well, maybe my expectations are high. Or it is because I am just using the free version.

I love the simplicity of it. It is user friendly too. Where you can create, post, add media files on it, either publish right away or draft it. It's just basic though. In fact, while creating this review, I was using the app already. Hope the desktop version of this post will turn out neatly.

They offer pro or paid version. And hoping I get the chance to upgrade this app soon.

That is all for now folks.

Why I choose Blogspot?

For a non pro like me, techie words are really hard. I admit I want to create my awesome and simple hosted website using Wordpress.org, but unluckily those tricky words was not for me. And here I am starting all over again using Blogspot/Blogger as my Blog website.

Note: This is just my reasons why I choose Blogger. I don't have any bad intentions or what so ever at WP.org

Below are my reasons why:
  •  WordPress and Blogger are both controlled by high tech individuals. So I go with any of my choice and don’t overly condemn or criticize the other in the name of the comparison. (It's just that WP is a very tricky blogging service for me.)
  • If you want a fancy blog with plug ins and design flexibility, then go for WordPress. If you just want to share posts, tips, etc., then go for Blogger. (Most blog readers would go for contents than fancy stuffs that take time to load.)
  • I think WP.org is out of the question because it seems too advanced for me. Haha
  • Let's be Honest, Blogger has a good SEO ranking because it is powered by Google. LOL.

Well, that is all for now. I am still in my learning curve. I am free to those who want to teach me positively. And beware of those would like to criticize.

Peace!

Cy’s Healthy Banana Bars

This recipe was accidentally invented due to my left over scone ingredients, so I decided to bake Healthy Banana Bars. And the results was heaven :)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 C mashed banana
1 cup finely, freshly ground whole wheat flour
1 cup Cornmeal
1 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
  • Mix all ingredients using electric mixer or whisker for 2 minutes.
  • Spread evenly on greased baking sheet. I used loaf baking glass.

  • Add a pinch of brown sugar on top of it.
  • Bake 20-25 minutes until bars are light brown on top.
  •  Cool in pan cut into bars or rectangular shape

Serve it with honey or eat it plain with your coffee or tea :)

Why I Blog!

I remember the month of September when I was alone reading some few online forums and sorting some of my emails and important files. One post from online blog who gave a big impact of myself to do this. That post gave me an idea why waste some of my free time just to read some feeds what was going wrong with each other lives in every social networking site, when I can also make on my own.

I am the type of person now who is very discreet or let me say I am very secretive when it comes to my own stuff. My past experiences were the reasons behind all this change of mind. I thought being secretive make me a better person. Then it hit me again, If I can't tell this to anyone, why not divert myself and strengthen my communication skills by writing. Which is exactly my weakness. And I admit it to myself that I am still working on it. I don't have to be specific what are those.

To make the story short, the night of September 22 when I decided to create my temporary blog site, and while I am still learning to create a new life and working website on my own. From searching Free blog sites, watching video tutorials online, thinking what to write and where to start. And surprisingly, blogging is not an easy thing. I am not a very tech savvy person, which I only know few gibberish tech terms, and when I watch the tutorials it gave me a terrible headache right away.

I decided not to pay someone to create a simple website since I know that I can do that on my own. Oh Yes, I believe in myself so much. To think that I am graduate of Nursing Degree. And funny how I made one. My reactions were priceless. It is such a relieve though.

I know that blogging is actually starting from making an online Journal. Basically, we don't have to follow any rules, But NO. There are basic rules in everything. As I google up and search online what are those.

Only one blogger who I love the rules most. Here is the link.

And I will always forever be thankful for all very generous bloggers out there who are very accommodating to assist to a newbie blogger like me.
